Chad Hunter has been a member of the CFBISD family since 2007.

He is a first-generation college graduate receiving his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and his master's degree from Lamar University. He is currently in the dissertation phase of his doctorate in educational administration at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Mr. Hunter began his teaching and coaching career at Newman Smith High School and later at Ranchview High School, where he taught English and coached football. In 2015, he started in administration as an assistant principal at Creekview High School and then served as the associate principal at Ranchview High School. Mr. Hunter was named the principal at Vivian Field Middle School in 2019.

Mr. Hunter is married to his wife Kristen, and they have two children, a son Connor who is 9 and a daughter Landon who is 7.
