RL Turner High School’s Model United Nations (MUN) organization made a strong debut at their first conference of the year. Three students attended the YMCA’s Crisis Committee at International Leadership High School in Garland on Saturday, October 12th.
Juniors Sanay Tyagi and Suhas Pendra represented India on the Human Rights Committee and World Health Committee, respectively. Both students gained valuable experience in MUN procedures and strategies.
Freshman Ghayathiri Anandaraman represented Algeria on the World Health Committee and was honored with the prestigious title of Honorable Delegate.
The RL Turner MUN organization is poised for further success, with plans to attend two conferences in November and a regional YMCA conference in December.
