Turner Choir Triumphs at UIL

For the past 3 days, Turner Choirs have competed at the Region 31 UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest. Singers have spent countless hours in rehearsal practicing and perfecting the skills it takes to execute high levels of musicianship on challenging music and sight reading.

Turner is proud to announce that Varsity Mixed, Varsity Treble, and Varsity Tenor Bass received superior ratings from all judges, awarding each group the coveted “Sweepstakes” trophy. Non Varsity Tenor Bass received a “superior” rating on stage and an “excellent” rating in sight reading, and Non Varsity Treble received an “excellent” rating in both concert and sight reading.
